For Bridget Moynahan and her son Jack, attending the US Open has become a cherished family tradition.
But when the mother and son returned to the tournament this year, their latest appearance gave fans an entirely different reason to take a second look.
Bridget Moynahan, 55, and 19-year-old Jack attended the 2026 US Open in New York on Sunday, August 30, once again continuing their tradition of enjoying the tournament together, according to People.
It didn’t take long for the new pictures to attract attention. Many fans immediately noticed Jack’s strong resemblance to his father, Tom Brady. At the same time, the photos showed just how dramatically the teenager has grown over the years.
The images quickly sparked a lively discussion about which of his famous parents Jack resembles most. Some observers even offered a particularly bold verdict. Photographed together inside the Emirates Suite, Jack stood nearly a full head taller than his mother as the pair posed for pictures and followed the action on the court.
Another US Open, Another Special Day Together
Photos from the outing captured Bridget and Jack sitting beside each other in the stands, both dressed in white. Bridget wore sunglasses with her hair pulled back, while Jack appeared relaxed as he enjoyed the match alongside his mother.
In one candid moment, the 19-year-old leaned forward with his mouth open, seemingly caught up in what was happening on the court.
Page Six also published photographs of the mother-son pair from the tournament’s opening night. Those images helped send the conversation about Jack’s appearance into overdrive.
Fans Couldn’t Stop Seeing Tom Brady
It wasn’t Bridget’s polished courtside appearance that generated the most conversation. Nor was it simply the sweet sight of a mother and son enjoying their yearly tradition together.
Instead, much of the attention landed on Jack — and the resemblance that many fans believe he now shares with his famous father.
As the photographs circulated online, people wasted little time sharing their reactions.
One commenter wrote, „The older he gets, the more he looks like Tom.“
Someone else was apparently so surprised by Jack’s appearance that they admitted, „I had to look twice!!!!“
Another fan went even further, declaring, „Wow, he’s actually even more handsome than his father!“
Others could see features from both sides of the family. One person offered a more balanced assessment, writing, „Looks like dad but I think he has mom’s nose! Beautiful pictures!“

The debate continued on Page Six’s Instagram post, where some commenters appeared even more convinced that Jack had inherited many of Tom Brady’s features.
One person jokingly wrote, „He looks more like tom Brady than tom Brady does! [sic]“
Another commenter summed up the similarity in only a few words: „Copy and paste for real.“
Still, the verdict was far from unanimous. Not everyone believed Tom deserved all the credit for Jack’s appearance.
One fan observed, „He looks like both of his parents but, I think he looks more like mom.“
His Height Has Become Just as Hard to Miss
Jack’s resemblance to his parents isn’t the only striking detail in the latest photographs.
Now 19, he has grown tall enough to tower over his mother, making the difference particularly noticeable whenever the two pose side by side.
It isn’t an entirely new development. Their height difference was already obvious the previous year, when Bridget posted a selfie with her son during a night match at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
In that 2025 Instagram photograph, Jack could be seen standing well above his mother as she took the selfie with the tennis court visible behind them.
Bridget captioned the memory, „Traditions at the @usopen 🎾,“ and thanked Emirates for hosting their evening at the tournament.
She added, „Thank you @emirates for hosting an incredible night of tennis. #usopen.“
The latest photographs make Jack’s transformation even more apparent. The little boy people once saw in family pictures is now a 19-year-old young man who stands considerably taller than his mother — a change that certainly hasn’t escaped the attention of those who have watched him grow up.
Jack Has Spent His Life in the Public Eye
Jack was born in August 2007 to Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady, after the former couple had separated in 2006.
Brady later married Gisele Bündchen, with whom he also welcomed son Benjamin and daughter Vivian.
Jack’s arrival attracted enormous public attention, but Bridget has repeatedly spoken about her determination to provide her son with a safe and private childhood.
Behind the polished family photographs familiar to fans today was a much more difficult period for the actress as she adjusted to motherhood under intense media scrutiny.
Speaking to People in 2019, Bridget recalled photographers following her and even men hiding outside her home while she was caring for her newborn son.
„As a new mother, you want to just protect your child. That kind of attention felt like a threat.“
The experience caused her to become increasingly protective of her private life.
Bridget also addressed that difficult period in Our Shoes, Our Selves, the book she co-wrote with Amanda Benchley.
There, she described just how far removed the experience had been from the joyful beginning to motherhood she had imagined.
„Having a baby should have been the most joyous time of my life, but instead I felt assaulted.“
She also wrote, „It’s unnerving to be followed and stalked like that, especially during such an emotionally vulnerable time.“
From an Intense Beginning to a Close Bond With Her Son
Years later, Bridget has spoken much more warmly about the family life she and Jack have created, as well as the co-parenting relationship she and Tom have maintained.
She previously told People that both parents had found partners who supported them in raising Jack and who loved him as their own.
„I don’t think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love.“
The closeness between Bridget and Jack can also be seen in the ordinary interests they share away from high-profile sporting events.
At the Global Citizen Festival in September 2023, Bridget told PEOPLE that music was one of the ways she and her son connected despite belonging to different generations.

Bridget explained that she could introduce Jack to bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, while he introduced her to artists from his own generation, including D-Nice.
She described it as „nice“ that they could meet in the middle despite their age difference and discover each other’s musical tastes.
Both parents have also continued celebrating Jack’s milestones publicly.
For his 19th birthday, Tom shared a loving tribute to his eldest son.
„Happy 19th birthday, Jack! 🎉 Aug 22, 2007 is a day I’ll never forget, because that’s when you showed up and stole my heart (and my sleep… and my patience… hahahaha).“
The former NFL star praised his son for the qualities he sees in him, describing Jack as kind, thoughtful, empathetic and full of love.
Tom continued, „And I’m so proud of who you have become. You fill my heart with so much joy and I’m blessed to be your dad. I cant wait to see what’s next.“
Bridget celebrated the same milestone with a simpler but equally sentimental message, once again offering a glimpse of the close relationship she shares with the son who has now grown up before the public’s eyes.
And after their latest US Open appearance, one question seems to have divided fans more than any other: when you look at Jack today, do you see more of Tom Brady — or more of Bridget Moynahan?
